Customs

Vessels entering Canada from foreign waters must clear Customs. The Canada Customs float in Victoria is located between the Wharf Street facility and the float plane terminals, at the foot of a 3-storey pink brick building. You must clear Customs PRIOR to arranging a berth for your vessel. A 24-hour direct phone is available on the Customs float. Once you have cleared Customs, you may hail GVHA on VHF 66A to request moorage.

The Canada Customs office is located at 816 Government Street on the corner of Government Street and Wharf Street. Canada Customs can be reached by phone at 1-800-461-9999. 

Please note: the Customs dock can accommodate vessels up to 70'/21m in length. If your vessel is over 70'/21m, contact Customs to make alternate arrangements and then contact the GVHA for space availability at least 48 hours in advance.
