Ogden Point

Ogden PointOgden Point is a deep water port facility with four piers able to handle very large vessels. The Victoria port is currently the busiest cruise ship port-of-call in Canada.

Ogden Point is also an important depot for undersea fibre optic cable repair. A heliport provides direct services to Seattle, Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport.

GVHA undertook significant improvements to Ogden Point in 2003, aimed at improving facilities for cruise ship passengers and crews. The Ogden Point facility is currently undergoing a master planning process.

A popular spot to visit at Ogden Point is the 762-metre concrete breakwater. Built in 1916, the breakwater is home to Na'Tsa'Maht - The Unity Wall mural that depicts the art of local First Nations.
