Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island (Lat: 48 25.17 N; Lon: 123 22.13 W).
Subtly influenced by warm Japanese currents, Victoria’s climate is temperate. The South Island region is protected from North Pacific rains and winds by the rugged mountain ranges of the Olympics, Cascades, Coast Mountains and the Island Ridge.
Berthing At Ogden Point
Ogden Point has four deep-sea berths, all with excellent approaches, depths, decks and mooring. Pier A offers two berths (1,100 ft and 800 ft) and is home to a 100,000 ft2 warehouse. The two berths at Pier B have been extended to 1,040 ft with the installation of a mooring dolphin. All berths are between 31 to 35 feet of water alongside at zero tide. All berths are fitted with large hornhook bollards and have cylindrical rubber bumpers spaced along the dock face.
Notice for Ogden Point rate change: for information on berthage rates and other fees at Ogden Point, read the 2014 Ogden Point Tariff.
